About Us
The AWCCI will assist businesswomen around the country; it will be the first of its kind in Australia.

The role of the AWCCI is to promote trade and commerce and assist businesswomen with economic relations in Australia and internationally.

The AWCCI will lobby government and industry to ensure advancement, and achievement for our members, as well as:
  • provide members and interested parties with information on matters relating to market conditions and financial facilities
  • provide a variety of annual educational workshops to members
  • provide a forum for identifying business and trade partners, collaborators and markets
  • advocate policy development to assist Australian businesswomen
  • become a resource to businesses and organisations that are committed to the benefits of gender diversity policies and practices
  • address issues that have created hurdles for economic and professional growth for women in Australia
  • assist with research and statistics regarding Australian businesses
  • promote the procurement of government contracts and more.

Our role is to:
  • consider all questions connected with trade and commerce;
  • promote, support or oppose legislative or other measures affecting such trade and commerce;
  • collect and circulate statistics and other information relating to such trade and commerce;
  • undertake the settlement by arbitration of disputes arising out of trade and commerce; and
  • undertake training and education for the benefit of Members.
